I represent businesses and individuals in various transactions and in litigation in state and federal court. Coming from a litigation background, I understand how to plan for dispute minimization and resolution, and I take a proactive approach when counseling clients. I review contracts, draft employment agreements and handbooks, and structure business relationships with an eye toward preventing thorny problems before they emerge.
I have experience with the entire litigation cycle, from initiating a suit to discovery to motion practice and trial support. I take a problem-solving approach to litigation and understand clients’ need for cost-effective, solution-oriented service.
I hold a law degree from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania. I began my career at a large national firm, practicing product liability litigation. I have also practiced complex civil litigation at a law firm in Prince George’s County, Maryland, handling matters ranging from commercial evictions to class action litigation to administrative appeals. I have also practiced on my own, helping small businesses incorporate, hire employees and contractors, and structure various transactions.
I regularly speak at events serving new and emerging businesses in Maryland, and I am an active member of the Maryland State Bar Association. I also volunteer to register voters and observe polls during local and national elections.
I am licensed to practice law in Maryland.
