About Rachel
As Associate Attorney, I support the various practice areas for businesses and individuals. I conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
Background Information:
I graduated in December 2011 from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.A. in Communication, with a concentration in public relations. I received my J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law in May 2017, with a concentration in intellectual property. I became a member of the Maryland State Bar in June 2018.
Civic Involvement:
I was an intern for Maryland Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (MDVLA) and worked for the organization as Art Law Clinic Coordinator. MDVLA is a non-profit organization that provides legal services to low-income artists in Maryland, similar to the kind of services MVLS offers, but with a focus on artists, including writers, painters, filmmakers, and photographers. During law school, as a Rule 19 Student Attorney for Veterans’ Advocacy Clinic, I spent some time doing expungement work on a pro bono basis.
